Disclaimer - too wordy

I did want to clarify up front that this blog isn't really written so much to entertain the masses. It will certainly be too wordy for most people, but I wanted to make sure I could keep a detailed journal of our trip. I think that they boys were particularly impressed with the whole trip and they might enjoy reading it in the future.

Part of the Blog details everything we did day by day and maybe hour by hour - especially the food! Some of the pictures (especially of the food) are nabbed from internet websites. It's not until afterward that you realize that you should have taken particular pictures.

Eventually, I would like to write some overall reflections about some things that we saw - for example the heating systems in the houses where we stayed were very sophisticated (of course I don't have any pictures of them either).
